Thank you for the privilege of being appointed "The Butler Brand Ambassador" for prestigious Le Touessrok Hotel.

My wife and I stayed at this impressive resort from 7th – 14th November 2009. The Manager, Pascal Brun, was very pleasant and welcoming.

I was appraised ahead of arrival at the hotel that I would have a Butler assigned to my room. Throughout our stay the Head of Housekeeping, Suren Goburdhun was always helpful and pro-active, ensuring that our Wedding Anniversary celebration was special!

On arrival at our spacious, well-equipped room right on the sea, we were welcomed by our Butler, Satish, who immediately offered to unpack our suitcases and outlined some of his services. It was the first time I had had this done, and was very impressed that it was so professionally executed. There was fresh fruit, of our choice, and flowers in our room with the fruit being replenished every day - which was much appreciated. We also received gifts on arrival and thank the management for this.

Our feelings are that the Butler services one can expect as a guest should be written and available in each effected room.

Butlers are not on duty 24 hours a day and also have a number of rooms to handle. It is important that guests know who is on duty, and when. The Butlers should be easily and timeously accessible and available. This was not always the case. In fact, the Butler on duty when I arrived was the only one I had dealings with, although another Butler did introduce himself, but I had no dealings with him.

For turndown at night there were always petals on the bed, chocolates and the aroma (chosen) from the candle. Our room was always kept well stocked and clean. On the evening of our departure our room was very prettily done with towel swans and petals – very impressive.

All in all a good Butler service, better communication required, more pro-activity and easy availability.

Our overall experience has caused us to highly recommend Le Touessrok. People that have already visited were delighted with their experience.
